Date Sold 9/15/2020 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 7 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Rock 'N' Roll Revue (rock and roll), the 1955 Joseph Kohn black African American musical comedy revue ("Rhythm-Packed and Star-Studded!"; "Kaleidoscopic Wondercolor") starring Nat 'King' Cole, Lionel Hampton and His Orchestra, Dinah Washington, Joe Turner, Duke Ellington and His Band, Larry Darnell, The Clovers, Ruth Brown, "Plus" Coles & Atkins, Martha Davis, Little Buck, Delta Rhythm Boys, Mantan Moreland, Leonard Reed, 'Nipsey' Russell, and M.C. Willie Bryant. It is really amazing that so many of the top stars of the day appeared in a single film, and for once, the tagline, "Star-Studded", seems like an understatement! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. The two cards pictured at left in our first image have spotty slight discoloration along portions of the lower blank border and the other cards have the same type of defects along portions of the upper left blank border (see our images). The images and border art of the cards, though, are in nice condition. The cards have no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they never have had any restoration of any kind.
