Vacation From Love, the 1938 George Fitzmaurice romantic comedy melodrama ("Forbidden Fruits are the Funniest!"; "Original Story and Screen play by Patterson McNutt and Harlan Ware"; about a couple who have marital problems, and they separate and each finds a new companion, but they eventually realize they belong together) starring Dennis O'Keefe, Florence Rice, Reginald Owen, June Knight, and Edward Brophy. Note that June Knight was a striking blonde who appeared in 12 movies between 1930 and 1940, two of them in uncredited roles. Perhaps she had bad luck, but her movies were very forgettable, and she is completely forgotten today. If anyone knows more about her or what happened to her career, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good. The card pictured at top has pinholes in the top of the image, and several faint stains at left through the star's jacket. The other card has several pinholes scattered throughout, with a tear at the top from rough removal.
