J.P. Bemberg was a German rayon manufacturer that produced an unusually fine artificial fiber which became known as Bemberg. This material was often used as the lining of suits and coats or as furniture fabric. J. P. Bemberg came under the control of Vereinigte Glanzstoff-Fabriken and eventually disappeared after a series of mergers and divestitures, but Bemberg rayon was still being produced in 2015 by Asahi in Japan, and is still commercially available!
Artist: Rene Gruau
Important Added Info: Note that this appears to be a 1980s commercial reprint of a 1950s advertising poster.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has approximately 2-3" of rippling slight discoloration along some portions of the left edge (mostly in the lower half of the poster). There are a few light creases scattered in various areas. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid.
