An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 1/2" x 9 1/4" [19 x 23 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Mary Howard was an actress from the 1930s to the 1940s. Some of her movies include: The Great Ziegfeld, Marie Antoinette, Test Pilot, Abe Lincoln in Illinois, and Love Finds Andy Hardy. Note that Will Rogers had a daughter named Mary, who tried to make it in Hollywood under the assumed name of "Mary Howard" in 1933. She didn't have any success, and she quit show business. Three years later, this actress came along, and she was billed as "Mary Howard", her real name, and she had a somewhat successful career in movies. But because of the earlier "Mary Howard" (Will Rogers' daughter), information about the two of them has been merged on many Internet sites, including the IMDb. THIS Mary Howard is NOT the daughter of Will Rogers. Mary passed away in 2009 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this is an odd still. It shows Mary Howard, a minor actress of the late 1930s and early 1940s, and it has a still code for her name. However, a snipe has been added for the movie "Radio City Revels", and the snipe refers to Ann Miller's character in that movie, and has Ann Miller's name, so clearly the wrong snipe was put on this still, because Mary Howard wasn't in this movie! Also note that this still measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/4" [19 x 23 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Condition: very good to fine. The still is in very nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
