Marsh Williams married his childhood sweetheart in defiance of his family, went to prison for a crime he never committed. He overcame the shame of it, won fame and a pardon by perfecting a carbine gun while in solitary confinement. It is a wonderful story of a fighting spirit and through it all is his romance with a girl who never lost faith in him."; "Story and Screen Play by Art Cohn") starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart; in the title role "as Carbine Williams"), Jean Hagen, Wendell Corey, Carl Benton Reid, and Paul Stewart NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good to very good. There was a piece of tape over the play dates area and it was removed, and there is now much tape residue in that area, but otherwise, the slide is in pretty nice condition!
