An Unfolded Special Poster (measures 18" x 24" [46 x 61 cm]) (Learn More) Walt Disney World is an entertainment complex built in Florida in 1971. The complex is the most visited vacation resort in the world, and has twenty-seven themed resort hotels, nine non-Disney hotels, four theme parks, two water parks, four golf courses, one nine-hole walking golf course for young golfers, two themed miniature golf courses, one camping resort, a shopping district, and other entertainment venues. Magic Kingdom was the first and original theme park to open in the complex followed by Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom, which opened later throughout the 1980s and 1990s. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is one of a remarkable collection of six Walt Disney posters we were just consigned, and we have never auctioned any of them before. They are in six separate auctions, and each was never sold! In the case of this poster, we think that examples of it were posted in employee areas at Epcot Center, but that it was also given to employees to commemorate this great new attraction opening in 1982. It has an image we have never seen before! This poster and the others like it we are auctioning come to us from a former Disney employee who took these home after they were used, and he says that they are incredibly rare, and that he has only ever seen a tiny number of similar "employee posters" ever sold or auctioned, and that they sold for very high prices. Surely these are among the most rare Disney posters there are, and they have wonderful different images! Sadly, there is only one of each, so up to six people can own these after these auctions end, and no more. Best of luck to all who bid on these extremely rare posters! Condition: good. The poster was never folded. There are two unevenly spaced lines of creases down the center, surely caused by it being roughly handled while it was rolled. There are also some tiny creases down the left and right borders. Obviously, the poster can be restored, but bear these defects in mind before bidding on this extremely rare poster.
