An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 13 1/4" x 18") (Learn More) A Bill of Divorcement, the 1932 George Cukor father/daughter family relationship mental illness melodrama ("From the play by Clemence Dane"; about a man who returns home after fifteen years in a mental institution to find that things are not the way they were when he left) starring John Barrymore, Katharine Hepburn (in her very first role, and she was immediately noticed as a major talent!), Billie Burke, David Manners, and Paul Cavanagh NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card has been trimmed and it now measures 13 1/4" x 18". Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: good. The card was trimmed on all four sides, but only the blank borders were affected. The card is quite fragile and the bottom left corner has a diagonal tear that almost completely separates that area. The poster is in urgent need of expert professional restoration. But the poster is mostly "all there", and after paperbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look fantastic, and it will likely require little paint restoration within the image.
