Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had many creases and some fine surface paper loss on the foldlines, with a pinhole near the center of the poster. It had pinholes and some faint brown stains around the edges, with small paper loss in the middle of the right blank border. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was likely linenbacked (with no excess) many years ago, because it appears that the restoration paint along the foldlines has aged differently than the rest of the poster, so it is surely more noticeable now than it was many years ago. But certainly, a top restorer could re-back the poster and perform additional restoration, although many collectors might display this ultra rare poster just as it is.
