An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Lucky Ghost, the 1942 William X. Crowley black African American gambling horror comedy thriller ("You Can Bet Your Bottom Dollar It's Thrilling - Exciting - Funny!"; "Thrills! Chills! A Thriller-Diller laff sensation!"; "With an All Star Colored Cast!") starring Mantan Moreland, F.E. Miller (Flourney E. Miller), Florence O'Brien, Monty Hawley, and Maceo Bruce Scheffield. Note that Flourney Miller was a major figure in black Broadway musical history, performing and writing with his partner Aubrey Lyles. After Lyles passed away in 1933, Miller appeared in a number of all-black movies in the 1930s and 1940s.

Important Added Info: Note that there are re-release one-sheets from this movie from Toddy Pictures which date from the 1940s, but are definitely NOT from the very first 1941 release from the Dixie National Film Exchange of Atlanta, Georgia. This lobby card offered here is one of the few surviving lobby cards from that very first release!
