Clive, Marjorie Wood, Karen Morley, and Edmund Gwenn. This means the poster was backed onto a paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. Condition: good. The poster was folded once in each direction and there were rough creases, smudges, and surface paper loss on both foldlines. There were some faint creases and smudges scattered in the poster and pinholes, creases, smudges, and tiny tears in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to paperbacking. The person who backed the poster used some kind of coloring on both borders that has since turned a light reddish color. If I owned this poster, I would surely have additional restoration performed, either by having it done with the poster as it is, or by having it re-backed, and then re-restoring the poster.
