An Original 1955 (from the first release of this movie in Spain) Vintage Theatrical Spanish Movie Herald (measures 3 1/2" x 5" [9 x 13 cm]) (Learn More) The Naked Jungle, the 1954 Byron Haskin army-ants-attack-South-American-coffee-plantation romantic adventure thriller ("The picture about the Marabunta!"; "Produced by George Pal"; "Based on the story 'Leiningen Versus The Ants' by Carl Stephenson") starring Eleanor Parker, Charlton Heston, William Conrad, Abraham Sofaer, and Romo Vincent. Note that when this movie was made, Charlton Heston had had some leading roles, but he was still second billed to Eleanor Parker. But after he made The Ten Commandments, The Big Country, and especially Ben-Hur in 1959, he was a superstar, and this movie was re-released in 1960 with Heston getting top billing (and a giant image on the posters).
