Paul Champseix artwork of people taking a cable car up a mountain. Note that in 1934, Chemins de fer du Midi merged with Chemin de fer de Paris a Orleans to form Chemin de fer de Paris a Orleans et du Midi railway. Artist: E. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. Soon after it was created, it was mounted onto a thin linen with no excess and two circular metal hangers were taped to the back of the top left and top right. Either before or after the poster was backed, it acquired creases, small tears, and some tiny paper loss around the edges.
