Blue Denim (released in other English-speaking countries as "Blue Jeans"), the 1959 Philip Dunne teen pregnancy romantic melodrama ("The lost innocence... The rude awakening to what they had done..."; "...the story of Janet [Age 15] and Arthur [Age 16]...suddenly in love with a maturity far beyond their years!"; "Janet [Age 15]: 'Maybe I could go to my Aunt Clara's. She's over two hundred miles away. Maybe I would just disappear somewhere or - just kill myself...'"; "Arthur [Age 16]: 'You're not going to go anywhere - or do anything. I'm responsible and I know a way out... I'll take care of everything...'"; "Listen to the kids in the motion picture 'blue denim'"; "the motion picture 'blue denim' talks heart to heart with young America!"; "LISTEN... To the sounds of 'blue denim'... To Janet, age 15, saying... 'Maybe I could just disappear somewhere or- just kill myself!' Listen... To Arthur, age 16, saying... 'I'm responsible and I know a way out!' LISTEN... With compassion and understanding! Don't close your eyes and pretend these things don't happen to nice kids to! ASK YOURSELF... How could it happen to Janet...so shy, so young, so very much like yourself! Where did she go wrong... And why... WHY... WHY? And what about the boy...he was really a decent kid... Ask his mother, his father, his friends! 'Blue Denim' goes into the solutions teenagers are forced to find for themselves! It is a strong drama with a viewpoint."; "'blue denim' says things no motion picture ever said before!"; "It searches the hearts and youth of a boy and girl who gave in to their feelings...and found they had put themselves in a straight-jacket for the rest of their lives. It probes the plight of unwed mothers..exposing it frankly and yet with utmost compassion."; "It looks at the parents, too...who are too busy to listen..."; "But 'blue denim' goes even beyond this...Into the shady back-street solutions teenagers find for themselves...when the only way out is to find someone who 'helps girls in trouble'"; about a teen couple that seek out an abortion when the girl gets pregnant, pretty serious stuff for the '50s!) starring Carol Lynley (in her third movie role!), Brandon DeWilde, Macdonald Carey, Marsha Hunt, and Warren Berlinger

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by Carol Lynley! Our consignor was a freelance journalist in the 1970s and 1980s, and he wrote a long letter to Miss Lynley, and also sent this insert along with the letter, which she autographed to him and returned, and which he has now consigned to us. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. There is staining in the upper left border, which extends into DeWilde's neck (see our image).
