An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Lady Vanishes, the classic 1938 Alfred Hitchcock English mistaken identity romantic mystery crime kidnapping thriller ("From the story 'The Wheel Spins' by Ethel Lina White"; about a young woman on a train who becomes friendly with a fellow passenger, but then the passenger disappears without the train stopping, and no one believes the young woman, not even the two people on her side, or are they?) starring Margaret Lockwood, Michael Redgrave, Paul Lukas, Dame May Whitty (in a memorable role, as "Miss Froy"), Cecil Parker, Linden Travers, Googie Withers, Naunton Wayne, and Basil Radford NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
