A Re-Release Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) White Pongo, the 1945 Sam Newfield albino gorilla horror adventure thriller ("A beast with human instincts!..roamed the jungle!";"Jungle monsters battle to the death as a woman watches in horror"; "Junge monsters battle to the death as a woman watches in terror!") starring Richard Fraser, Maris Wrixon, Gordon Richads, Al Eben, Lionel Royce, Michael Dyne, George Lloyd, and Ray 'Crash' Corrigan (in the title role as White Pongo). Note that Crash Corrigan made a REALLY wise investment in the 1930s, when he bought a "gorilla suit". In many of the movies in the 1940s where there is a fake gorilla, it is played by Crash Corrigan, no doubt because he could supply the suit! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. There is paper loss in the solid background to the left of the title. There are some pinholes and small tears scattered through the image and creases and tiny tears along several foldlines. The poster has multiple border defects including small areas of paper loss. None of the above is all that major or noticeable, and, after a simple linenbacking, the poster would look great, and there would be little paint on the image! Learn More about condition grades
