An Original Vintage Magazine (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm]) (Learn More)

World Famous Creatures, the monster magazine that was published starting in October of 1958. It was extremely similar to Famous Monsters of Filmland, but this magazine only lasted 4 issues (we don't know why). It had really cool covers (some would say better than early Famous Monsters covers), and the first two issues had "Halloween masks" on the back cover (you could cut out the mask and "attach a rubber band to the tabs on the sides"). We are told they are extremely rare, much more so than the early issues of Famous Monsters of Filmland. If anyone knows more about this magazine, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
Important Added Info: Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and pictures of interior two-page spreads (including the table of contents page if there is one; but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!). These images should greatly help you judge the overall condition of the magazine, and the contents page lets you know exactly what articles and stories are contained in this particular issue. Please know that these magazines are sealed in bags and are ready for shipping, and we cannot answer any questions about them or look through them for you, so please bid (or do not bid) based on the images we have provided.

Condition: good. There are some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss around the edges of the covers. There is an owner's name stamp in the bottom left corner of the cover. The spine is slightly rolled. There are creases and scuffs scattered around the edges of the covers, with some light stains in the bottom left of the back cover. The interior pages are in pretty good condition (see our images to give you a good sense of the condition of the magazine).
