An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Seed, the 1931 William A. Wellman family relationship romantic melodrama ("A challenge to women in love!"; "It's life itself!"; "From the novel by Charles G. Norris"; about a writer who leaves his wife and five children for a beautiful woman, and then he becomes a major success, and then years later, he convinces his wife to move with their five kids to New York where he lives, which makes his new wife very insecure) starring John Boles, Genevieve Tobin, Lois Wilson, Raymond Hackett, Zasu Pitts, Bette Davis (who is 6th billed, in her second movie, as the adult daughter of the author!), Richard Tucker, and Frances Dade NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that Bette Davis is both pictured and billed on this ultra rare glass slide. Movie memorabilia of any kind from this title is extremely rare! Also note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"! Learn More about condition grades
