An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures approximately 30" x 40") (Learn More) Susan Slade, the 1961 Delmer Daves teenage romantic melodrama ("Troy and Connie in love again!"; "All the others didn't count. All that happened never happened. All she ever wanted was one boy. All she ever really wanted was one boy's love."; "She always meant to hold them off. She never could until she met the boy who understood..."; "Could she ever trust another boy again?"; "Troy and Connie - that Parrish Pair... In love again!"; "Susan Slade was excited. Susan Slade was scared. Susan Slade could never trust another boy again. Susan Slade trusted this boy."; "From Chile to Nob Hill- From Guatemala to posh Pebble Beach-this is California's young luxury set."; "From the novel by Doris Hume") starring Troy Donahue ("- the boy from 'A Summer Place'"), Connie Stevens (in the title role as Susan Slade; "- the girl from 'Parish'"), Dorothy McGuire, Lloyd Nolan, Brian Aherne, Grant Williams, Natalie Schafer, and Kent Smith. Note that this movie reunited Troy Donahue and Connie Stevens, who had starred in the very successful "Parrish"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Tom William Chantrell Important Added Info: Note that this British quad was folded vertically three times and horizontally three times (this being folded one time more than is sometimes done, but it is quite common with British quads, especially older ones). Because of this, this quad can be sent in one of our standard size flat packages (but if it is purchased together with quads that have not been folded in the same way, then it will of course have to be sent in one of our tubes if the other quads are unfolded, or, if it is purchased with other quads that are only folded once horizontally than it can either be sent in an oversized flat package, OR in a tube). But if this quad is purchased by itself (or solely with other quads that have been folded the same way), then the shipping can be lower, because it then fits in a standard package. But please realize that because this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time it is likely that the creases have diminished and therefore re-folding the poster will likely bring some of those creases back, but we leave that decision as to whether or not to re-fold the poster up to the individual buyer of this item. UNLESS THE BUYER TELLS US OTHERWISE, THIS QUAD WILL BE SENT ROLLED IN A TUBE. Condition: fair to good. The tagline area across the lower center of the image has been painted over with black censor paint (it read "Could she ever trust another boy again?"). It is unlikely the paint can be removed, even by a professional, but the poster could certainly be restored by having the correct tagline re-painted in that area. Learn More about condition grades
