Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The card had a vertical tear in the left of the top border that ran down the center of Costello's credit, and into the top of his hair. There were also pinholes, tears, and small paper loss around the edges, with some creases and smudges scattered throughout the card. Overall, the card was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. Given the card's many defects, the person did a pretty good job linenbacking it, but during the linenbacking process, they slightly "stretched" the card, and it now measures 11" x 14 1/4", so bear this in mine before bidding.
