An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Tree Surgeon, the 1944 George Gordon animated animation cartoon comedy short (produced by Fred Quimby; a wacky story about a donkey doctor who tries to nurse a sentient giant sequoia back to health after the tree is attacked by a giant termite-like bug; the cartoon is filled with all sorts of side gags, many centering around animals living in or on the tree, and the donkey is intending to inject the tree with "vitamin tree-B", but injects itself instead, which causes it to become plant-like, but he injects himself with weed killer, which cures the problem!). Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold, with a 1" tear coming off the lower left of it, and tiny paper loss at the bottom crossfold. It had pinholes in the corners and minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
