An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20 1/4" x 28 5/8" [51 x 73 cm]) (Learn More) Bullitt, the classic 1968 Peter Yates San Francisco California crime car chase action thriller ("The word 'cop' isn't written all over him - something more puzzling is."; "There are bad cops and there are good cops - and then there's Bullitt."; "Bullitt comes to this theatre soon. That ought to shake up the place pretty good. Not many freaky cops like Bullitt around. You look at the Italian shoes and the turtleneck and you have to wonder. You listen to the official beefs about 'personal misconduct,' 'disruptive influence,' you figure he's got to be up for trade. But when some rare Chicago blood starts spilling in San Francisco, they give Bullitt the mop. They weren't exactly doing him a favor. But they've done a great big one for you."; "Detective Lt. Frank Bullitt - some other kind of cop. Pity the guy he works for."; "Based on the novel 'Mute Witness' by Robert L. Pike"; about a detective who drives a 1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback while pursuing professional hitmen who murdered the wrong guy and let's not forget the really cool chase scenes!) starring Steve McQueen (in the title role "as Bullitt"), Robert Vaughn, Jacqueline Bisset, Don Gordon, Robert Duvall, Simon Oakland, and Norman Fell NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this film was first released in Japan in late December of 1968. It was still in continuous release when it won an Oscar in April of 1969, and new posters were printed to capitalize on this. There is a 1974 re-release poster that looks very similar, but it lacks the Warner Bros/Seven Arts logo at bottom-right and there are other differences as well. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has pinholes and a few tiny tears around the edges (one tiny tear is repaired with tape from the back at right). It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after some proper restoration the poster will look great! Learn More about condition grades
