An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Swedish Stolpe (referred to by some as a "Swedish insert") Movie Poster (measures 13" x 27 1/2") (Learn More) M (released in England in 1932 and in the U.S. in 1933), the classic 1931 Fritz Lang German psychotic-serial-child-murderer serial killer crime film noir thriller (about a killer of children who is hunted by the police AND by "regular" criminals, who want him stopped because he is bad for their business, and when they catch him ahead of the police, they put him "on trial"; surely one of the handful of greatest movies ever made!) starring Peter Lorre (as Hans Beckert), Gustaf Grundgens, Otto Wernicke (as Inspector Karl Lohmann), Theo Lingen, Ellen Widmann, Inge Landgut, and Theodor Loos (as Inspector Groeber) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Original release German posters from "M" are impossible to find and cost fortunes. This Swedish stolpe is a very affordable alternative, and it IS from the first release, and it has the classic "M" on the hand image that was on the original German poster! Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster was tightly rolled at one time and there are many horizontal creases throughout the poster and a few very tiny tears and creases in the borders. This is the sort of poster that responds really well to professional restoration. It is likely that much or all of the creases would mostly vanish during the backing process, after which the poster will look fantastic. Learn More about condition grades
