An Undated (probably 1938) Re-Release Special Movie Poster (measures 32 1/2" x 43 3/4" [83 x 111 cm]) (Learn More)

The Love Life of a Gorilla, the 1937 Major Frank Brown African wildlife documentary featuring Sir Cecil Deberrie, Colonel Hubert Winstead, and Major Frederick Brown. Note that it appears that this film incorporated footage from the 1930 film Ingagi (which did the same thing with footage from an earlier film) and also used the fictitious explorer Colonel Hubert Winstead. It is also possible that it uses footage from the 1934 film Kidnapping Gorillas. Also, a knowledgeable collector tells us that Joseph Kennedy produced this film. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good to very good. There are some creases and tears of varying lengths (generally 1" or less but some are larger) along parts of some edges.
