Amy Winehouse was an English singer and songwriter from the 2000s to the 2010s. She is best known for her eclectic mix of musical styles including R&B, soul, jazz, and reggae. She was very successful in her tragic and short-lived career, becoming the first British female to win five Grammys. However, she was just as well known for heavy substance abuse, passing away in 2011 from alcohol poisoning at just 27 (becoming part of the infamous 27 Club).
