Note that these were assembled by a collector, and some are original, but some are from various re-releases (see our images to know exactly which are which, and what re-releases they are from, if they are dated). Alfred Hitchcock is perhaps the most famous English director of all-time, directing many groundbreaking and classic movies from 1921 to 1976. He would often appear briefly in his own movies as a gag. Some of his movies include: Rear Window (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), North By Northwest, Psycho (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Vertigo, Strangers on a Train, Notorious, Rebecca (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Shadow of a Doubt, The 39 Steps, The Lady Vanishes, The Birds, Dial M for Murder, Lifeboat (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Spellbound, The Man Who Knew Too Much (he made this one TWICE!), The Trouble with Harry, and many, many more! Note that the items in this lot are from the 1960s to the 1980s. We do not provide a list of these stills, but there are images of all of them (some of the stills do not identify either the movie or the people pictured).
