The Incredible Hulk is a superhero created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1962 for Marvel Comics. He had his own series for six issues and then appeared in a number of issues of Tales to Astonish. He is the alter-ego of Bruce Banner (later David Bruce Banner) and appears as a gigantic, green, irradiated mutant humanoid monster with incredible strength and size who cannot control his rage. The Hulk character has appeared in a wide variety of media including TV (in a series starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno) and in several films.
