Note that Universal had previously made a version of this classic stage play in 1929 (starring Lauira LaPlante, Joseph Schildkraut, and Jules Bledsoe), and it was remade again in 1951 (starring Howard Keel, Ava Gardner, and William Warfield)! The poster had a 4" tear in the upper left blank border and some creases, smudges, and pinholes around the edges of the poster in the borders.
