An Original 1939 (from the first release of this movie in Italy) Vintage Theatrical Italian Movie Lobby Card (Italian LC; measures 13 3/4" x 19" [35 x 48 cm]) (Learn More) It's in the Air (released in the U.S. in 1940 as "George Takes the Air"), the 1938 Anthony Kimmins English patriotic military airplane aviation flight slapstick comedy ("George Takes the Air with the R.A.F.") starring George Formby (in the title role as George Brown), Polly Ward, Garry Marsh, "An All Comedy Cast", Jack Hobbs, and Julien Mitchell NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare Italian lobby card from the first release of this movie in the 1930s. Italian lobby cards from before World War II are on a heavyweight paper and they have a "tipped-in" black & white still. They are extremely rare due to paper shortages in Italy during World War II. It was not until after World War II that Italian distributors switched to "photobustas", which resemble lobby cards, but which are on a much thinner paper, and which often measure larger than the earlier Italian lobby cards.
