Note that this was one of Hollywood's first realistic looks at alcoholism that was not heavy handed and one-dimensional, and it has not really dated at all, and it remains a very powerful movie, with great writing, acting, cinematography, and direction. The poster had tears and areas of paper loss in the center 5" of the top horizontal fold, with some tears and small paper loss scattered on the rest of the folds. It had pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
