Artist: Anselmo Ballester Important Added Info: Note that there were at least three printings of this poster for the first release of this movie in Italy. All feature the same artwork and all are printed by the same printing company (Moneta). Except for some small variations in the colors and Columbia logo, the only real difference between them is how the Moneta information is displayed in the bottom border. We have seen examples of this before with Italian first release posters (such as for To Catch a Thief) and the same has occurred for U.S. one-sheets for films such as Star Wars. One of the Italian experts that we consulted with tells us that the poster offered here is from the first printing, and this is supported by what we know of the Moneta "logos". What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some folds, with a 1 1/2" vertical tear in the left of the top horizontal fold, in the sky background. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
