An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) White Heat, the classic 1949 Raoul Walsh romantic love triangle crime film noir ("James Cagney in His New Hit from Warner Bros."; "James Cagney is red hot in 'White Heat'"; "His New Hit from Warner Bros."; "Screen Play by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts"; "Suggested by a Story by Virginia Kellogg"; about a psychotic killer who has frequent crippling headaches and although married, has an unnatural closeness to his aged mother) starring James Cagney (in one of his most memorable roles as Cody Jarrett; "in his new Warner hit"), Virginia Mayo (as Verna), Edmond O'Brien, Steve Cochran (as Big Ed), Fred Clark, Margaret Wycherly (unforgettable as the mother, Ma Jarrett, who really really loved her son, in her most memorable role!), John Archer, and Jim Thorpe (the legendary athlete in a cameo role!) Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet has been owned for decades by a collector who long ago put tape on the back of some of the foldlines (see below), and has stored it flat ever since. If we were to attempt to fold the poster, it would be very difficult due to the tape, so we will only send this poster rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster had a lot of tape on the back of parts of many foldlines and also on the back of tiny pinholes in the borders. The poster had tiny tears in the top and bottom quarters of the vertical foldline. The poster did not have much wrong with it to begin with, and it looks like someone just was "tape happy"! If not for the tape, the poster would grade to "very good" or "very good to fine", and it will display fine just as it is, or a person could choose to have it linenbacked (this would likely be done simply to remove the tape).
