An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 13" x 17" [33 x 43 cm]) (Learn More) The Mark of Zorro, the 1920 Fred Niblo silent south-of-the-border masked-hero western adventure thriller ("From the 'All Story Weekly' novel 'The Curse of Capistrano' by Johnston McCulley") starring Douglas Fairbanks (in the title role as Zorro), Marguerite De La Motte, Robert McKim, Noah Beery Sr., Charles Hill Mailes, and Claire McDowell. It is interesting to note that this was the very first Zorro movie ever, and that Zorro, created in a pulp story in 1919, was the very first masked superhero ever! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 13" x 17" [33 x 43 cm]. Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: good to very good. The card was neatly trimmed to 13" x 17" (no doubt to fit a frame). It has pinholes around the edges. It has darkened slightly. There is a slight partial horizontal crease in the right of the bottom 1" of the card and there are some faint smudges in the white background areas. Learn More about condition grades
