Festival Du Cinema Americain (literally translates to "American Film Festival"), the 1987 poster advertising the American Film Festival in Deauville, France to be held September 5-14, 1987 and featuring cool art of a lady in a hat. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had scuffs in the right of the bottom blue water area and in the top of the second "L" of "DEAUVILLE". There were matching scuffs in the upper right corner. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
