An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Donald 'Red' Barry was an actor from the 1930s to 1980. He may be best known as having the title role in the "Red Ryder" serial (which is how is got his nickname), and for his roles in many westerns. Some of his other movies include: Johnny Got His Gun, Dead End, Seven Men From Now, Only Angels Have Wings, and Warlock. Unfortunately, he took his own life in 1980 at the age of 68. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Don 'Red' Barry! Also note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahoney Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
