Wellman south-of-the-border Mexico/Old California romantic cowboy western ("The bandit who defied a nation!"; "The bandit who fought a nation!"; about a Mexican man whose wife is killed by four Americans, and he kills them in revenge, and a reward is put on his head; he joins with other bandits and creates a Mexican army rallying against the U.S., of course this was very loosely based on the real life story of Pancho Villa) starring Warner Baxter (as Joaquin Murrieta), Ann Loring, Bruce Cabot, Margo, J. Carrol Naish, Soledad Jimenez, Carlos De Valdez, and Harry Woods NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that the card measures very slightly under 14" x 22" (an extremely tiny amount in each direction!) and has no left, right, or bottom blank borders, but it has NOT been trimmed (this was done at a time when MGM was experimenting with having as few borders as possible).
