Gisaengchung (released in English-speaking countries as "Parasite"), the 2019 Bong Joon Ho (winner of the Best Director Academy Award for this film) South Korean society horror comedy melodrama ("A film by Bong Joon Ho"; "Act like you own the place"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Song Kang Ho, Lee Sun Kyun, Cho Yeo Jeong, Choi Woo Shik, Park So Dam, Lee Jung Eun, and Chang Hyae Jin. Note that this is the first film in a foreign language to win the Academy Award for Best Picture, as well as the first movie to win the awards for both Best Picture and Best International Film!

Important Added Info: Note that this film was a worldwide success at the box office and won many awards. The movie had a worldwide first release schedule which took place from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, a special "Black-and-White Edition" was released which, depending on when the original color version was first released in each country, could be seen as either part of the continuous first release or a re-release.
