An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Old Homestead, the 1922 James Cruze silent family relationship stolen money melodrama ("In Theodore Roberts Uncle Josh lives again"; "Adapted from Denman Thompson's play by Perley Poore Sheehan and Frank Woods"; about a kindly old man whose nephew is accused of stealing money, and he mortgages his farm to cover his nephew's loss, and he risks losing it, but in the end everything works out alright) starring Theodore Roberts, George Fawcett, T. Roy Barnes, Harrison Ford (not the same Harrison Ford that we know as an actor today, but a very popular leading man of the 1920s), and Fritzi Ridgeway. Note that this was a very popular play that was filmed four different times, once before this version, and twice after. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good.
