Important Added Info: Note that whoever put the label on this script did not know Roman numerals very well, because they put "STAR TREK IV" on the cover when it actually should have been "STAR TREK VI"!Note that this script has an unusual origin! Our consignor worked for Christian Slater in 1990, when his mother, Mary Jo Slater, was the casting director on this film. She got her son a walk-on in the film. The producers of the film were fanatical to keep copies of the script from leaking to the public, and they took the unusual step of assigning a number to everyone who received the script, and then putting that number on every single page of the script they received, so that if a script leaked out, they would know who had done it! Our consignor needed to run Christian Slater's lines with him, so she made a photocopy of his script for that purpose. Our consignor tells us that there were there were only 100 cast and crew copies, and 15 additional ones for the assistants. This script is #70, and that number is on all the interior pages. So, to sum up, this script IS from 1990, but it was photocopied for Christian Slater by his assistant! Also note that this script is the fourth draft from December 13, 1990 and the screenplay was written by Nicholas Meyer and Martin Flinn. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
