'Satin and Silk'"; "The gay life in the city of romance sun in 'Paris Loves Lovers'"; "High jinx and hilarity set to Russky rhythm in 'Hail Bibinski' and more"; "Book of Original Musical Play by George S. Kaufman") starring Fred Astaire, Cyd Charisse, Janis Paige, Peter Lorre, Jules Munshin, George Tobias, and Joseph Buloff. Note that there had been a non-musical version of this story under the title "Ninotchka" in the 1930s with Greta Garbo in the lead role. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that although these stills were "printed in Great Britain", they have full NSS information. Perhaps they were intended to be used in both countries (we have heard from collectors who saw these color stills in U.S. theaters at the time the movies were released, but we have not heard from any English collectors as to whether they were used in England at that time). If any English collector knows if these were or were not used in English theaters when the movies were released, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. Several of the stills have minor scuffs throughout (with many being mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light). The still pictured second on the left has several scuffs and minor creases scattered throughout, and several pairs of staple holes in the bottom of the image and top two corners, and the still pictured third on the left has a pairs of staple holes in the center of the upper and lower blank borders, with the top having paper loss due to rough removal, but the other stills are in pretty nice condition!
