An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) House on Telegraph Hill, the 1951 Robert Wise crime film noir mystery thriller ("Based on a Novel by Dana Lyon"; a very convoluted story of greed and deception!; a woman in a Nazi concentration camp in World War II is freed at the end of the war, and assumes the identity of a friend who is heir to a fortune; she goes to San Francisco to claim it and discovers she is now the trustee of the friend's boy, so she must now pose as his mother; he inherits his aunt's fortune, and she falls in love with the trustee, but discovers the trustee is actually having an affair with the boy's governess, and that they had already murdered the aunt and are now planning to kill her as well!) starring Richard Basehart, Valentina Cortesa, William Lundigan, Fay Baker, and Gordon Gebert NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. This poster was linenbacked and during the backing process, its extremely minor defects were repaired and it now looks really great! We only assigned this grade ("fine") to posters that were in really excellent condition prior to linenbacking, and which were linenbacked by a top professional. The poster had tiny holes at the crossfolds and some minor fold and border wear, but overall, the poster was in quite nice condition prior to linenbacking, and it looks great!
