An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked English Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 39 3/4" x 78 1/2") (Learn More) John Buchan's The Thirty-Nine Steps, the 1959 (released in the U.S. in 1960) Ralph Thomas English crime murder spy espionage mistaken-identity romantic thriller ("Based on the novel by John Buchan") starring Kenneth More, Taina Elg, Brenda De Banzie, Barry Jones, Reginald Beckwith, and Sidney James. Note that this was a remake of the classic 1935 Alfred Hitchcock movie of the same name starring Robert Donat and Madeleine Carroll! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this English movie! Condition: good to very good. The poster had creases and scuffs scattered throughout the poster, but they are much more noticeable in the white letters of the title. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above (any restorer could likely touch them up without re-backing the poster).
