Days of Thunder, the 1990 Tony Scott NASCAR automobile car racing sports melodrama ("You can't outrun the thunder."; "Cruise like Thunder"; "Story by Robert Towne and Tom Cruise"; produced by Jerry Bruckheimer) starring Tom Cruise, Robert Duvall, Randy Quaid, Nicole Kidman, and Cary Elwes. Note that it was during production of this movie that Tom Cruise hand picked Nicole Kidman, as his love interest, and they got married on Christmas Eve 1990!
