An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Mini Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 8" x 14" [20 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Nitwits, the 1935 George Stevens New York City screwball slapstick murder mystery musical comedy farce ("Crime wave hits Tip Pan Alley!.. And the world's greatest clowns are still unhung!"; "WHOOPEE-EE! They're on the roar path!") starring Wheeler and Woolsey (Bert Wheeler and Robert Woolsey; billed as "World's Funniest Cinema Clowns"; "A goofy tale of lipsticks, hip sticks, night sticks, and slap sticks... An exciting murder mystery with blood-chilling thrills, lilting lyrics and holocaust of hilarity"), Fred Keating, Betty Grable (even though she had been in movies six years, she was still mostly playing minor roles, usually as a dancer!), Evelyn Brent, and Erik Rhodes. Note that George Stevens became a very major director in the 1940s and 1950s, but he was already directing comedy movies like this in 1935! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: good. There is a foreign stamp in the middle of the right border. There are stains and smudges around the edges. Learn More about condition grades
