An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Curtain Call, the 1940 Frank Woodruff New York City Broadway stage acting comedy ("Screen Play by Dalton Trumbo"; with a clever plot, reminiscent of "The Producers", about two Broadway producers who purchase an awful play from a naive girl, so that they can get revenge on an ungrateful star!; I wonder if Mel Brooks saw this movie before he wrote "The Producers"!) starring Barbara Read, Alan Mowbray, Helen Vinson, Donald MacBride, and John Archer NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned two in all our years of auctioning and the last time was in 2007! Condition: good. There is light rippling scattered throughout. There is some tiny creases, tears, and bits of paper loss along portions of the vertical foldline and paper loss in the lower corners. Fortunately it is otherwise "all there" and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
