An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Other Company One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Made for Each Other, the 1939 John Cromwell romantic newlywed lawyer legal comedy melodrama ("Dramatic..." "heartbreak...! The heartbreak of two young people in love... facing the world with song in their hearts. Laughter... melodrama... and Carole Lombard in a brilliant transition from comedienne to dramatic star!"; "...A stirring love story to thrill the world!"; "Screen play by Jo Swerling"; "Produced by David O. Selznick"; about a young married couple, and the husband works in a law firm where his boss wanted him to marry his daughter instead, and the trials and tribulations the young couple have, especially after they have a baby with medical problems) starring Carole Lombard, James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart), Charles Coburn, Lucile Watson, Louise Beavers, and Harry Davenport NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this was printed by the "other company". This was a company in the Midwest that from roughly 1936 to roughly 1941 printed its own one-sheets and lobby card sets (and a very few inserts and half-sheets) for three major studio movies (Warner Brothers, Paramount and United Artists, but no other studios). The posters and lobby cards are from the original release of the movie, and almost always have completely different artwork from the regular studio release. They never have the name of the releasing studio on the poster or any of the lobby cards. Sometimes, "other company" posters or lobby cards have images that are the equal of those from the regular studio release posters or lobby cards! Condition: good to very good. There was a 6" slightly diagonal tear in the bottom center of the poster and someone put paper tape on the back of that tear and there are also several other large paper tape and clear tape repairs on the back of the poster. After a simple linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look great, with little need of paint restoration. Learn More about condition grades
