An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 7 1/4" x 9 1/4" [18 x 23 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) A Feather In Her Hat, the 1935 Alfred Santell family relationship mother-son melodrama ("Lovers :- Before you kiss again, see the sweetest love story ever told!"; "Based on the novel by I.A.R. Wylie"; about a poor woman who has grand ambitions for her son, and she deceives him into thinking he is related to a famous acting family, and that causes him to become a playwright, and only on her death bed does his mother confess the truth to him) starring Pauline Lord (she was a very famous stage actress who only appeared in this movie and one other), Basil Rathbone, Louis Hayward, Billie Burke, and Wendy Barrie. Note that Columbia Pictures was afraid that viewers would not be interested in a story of a mother's sacrifice for her adult son, and therefore they deceptively presented the movie as a conventional love story in their paper advertising, and star Pauline Lord only received a tiny image! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 1/4" x 9 1/4" [18 x 23 cm]. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: good to very good.
