Some of his movies include: Fat City, The Long Riders, The New Centurions, The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean, Brewster McCloud, American History X, and had memorable role as Sergeant Stedenko in Cheech & Chong's "Up in Smoke". He also played Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer in TV's "Mike Hammer: Private Eye". He had an acting brother, James Keach, and in "The Long Riders", the real life brothers played the James brothers!
