Some of her movies include: The Man Who Knew Too Much, Dial M For Murder, High Noon, Mogambo (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), The Country Girl (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), and Rear Window. Kelly married Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956 and retired from movies, becoming Princess of Monaco. She passed away in 1982 at the age of 52 in a car accident caused by a stroke. Our consignor is a dealer who purchased this signed item (together with others we are currently auctioning) from the estate of a South American collector who collected signed items and many other collectibles over several decades, and that collector had many extremely valuable items, both signed and unsigned. Our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity, but because they came from the estate of this collector, we think it is extremely likely the signature is authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
