An Undated (probably 1960s) Re-Release Theatrical Folded Military One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Seven Sinners, the 1940 Tay Garnett South Seas U.S. Navy romantic love triangle gambling adventure comedy (based on an original story by Ladislas Fodor and Laslo Vadnai; about a cabaret singer who is kicked off of one South Pacific island, and arrives at another one with a U.S. Navy base, and she attracts the love of a Navy Lieutenant and a local mobster) starring Marlene Dietrich, John Wayne, Albert Dekker, Broderick Crawford, Mischa Auer, Billy Gilbert, Anna Lee, Samuel S. Hinds, Oscar Homolka, Reginald Denny, Vince Barnett, and Richard Carle NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This is a military one-sheet. Military one-sheets were printed at the same time as the regular U.S. one-sheets when the movie was first released. They were made to be used on U.S. military installations. Sometimes the poster has small writing at the bottom that says "For Distribution and Use at U.S. Military Establishments Only", and sometimes they just have "Litho in U.S.A." or "Printed in U.S.A." in small letters in the lower right or lower left (most often, the ones that were used in the 1950s in the Korean War have "Litho in U.S.A.", and the ones that were used in the 1960s in the Vietnam War have "Printed in U.S.A.). This is one of the posters that says "Printed in U.S.A.". Condition: fair to good. The poster is in much lesser condition. There are several defects scattered along the edges and foldlines/crossfolds and there are several significant areas of foldline and/or crossfold separation.
