An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Handle With Care, the 1964 John K. McCarthy black African American romantic musical comedy ("The fun-filled musical that will leave you with a twinkle in your eye!"; "Hear these Songs: 'Handle with Care' 'Too Little and Too Late' 'Sad Dreams and Bitter Teardrops'") starring Georgia Carr, Otis Greene, Eddie Beale (billed as "Eddie Beal"), Leroy Daniels, and Ernest Mayhand. This is an "all black" movie, like the ones that were so popular in the 1930s and 1940s. I had no idea any of these were still being made in the mid-1960s, but this director wrote and directed two sexploitation movies at this time (one before this movie and one after), and I guess he decided to make a third that focused on black African American performers. Four years later, the director was the co-screenwriter of a biker movie, and that ended his Hollywood career, and we have no idea why it was so brief. The poster says "A Cinema-Video International Release" at the bottom right, and we are not sure what the "video" or the "international" part of that refers to! If anyone knows more about any of this , please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
